Bronx, N.Y. – Both Lehman College basketball teams continue CUNYAC action this Wednesday as they travel for a twin-bill against Baruch College as women's sides meet at 5:30 pm ET, while the men's squads face off at 7:30 pm ET.

The Lightning women (2-7; 1-2 CUNYAC) are coming off a 59-52 conference loss at home to John Jay College at The APEX on January 15
th.
Brianna Barnes led the offense for Lehman with her eighth 'double-double' of the season scoring 20 points while grabbing 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Baruch Bearcats (3-6; 1-1 CUNYAC) posted a 67-60 victory against hosts Pratt Institute in a non-conference encounter this past Monday.
Baruch holds a 26-10 advantage in the head-to-head meetings against Lehman since 2003. The Lightning have posted victories in six of the last 10 encounters, however the Bearcats have won the previous four match-ups. The last time both sides squared off was on February 15, 2020, with hosts Baruch winning 87-51.
The twin-bill nightcap will feature a battle of undefeated conference squads as the Lehman men (11-1; 5-0 CUNYAC) take on Baruch (9-4; 3-0 CUNYAC) for the top spot in the standings.
The Lightning are coming off their ninth consecutive victory after defeating the visiting John Jay Bloodhounds, 81-71, in CUNYAC game, at The APEX over the weekend.
Isaiah Geathers led the way Lehman with 30 points, while
Gian Batista added 17 points, 10 rebounds and was two assists shy (eight) of a 'triple-double.'
Meanwhile, the Bearcats topped the hosts Medgar Evers College, 93-80, in a conference encounter last Friday (Jan. 14
th).
Baruch has a 20-17 edge in the head-to-head series against Lehman since 2003, which includes winning four of the last five encounters. The last time both sides faced off was during the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals as hosts Bearcats topped the Lightning 70-57 on Feb. 25, 2020.
