Bronx, N.Y. – The CUNYAC playoff bound Lehman College men's basketball team will be aiming for the top spot in the conference standing when it hosts Medgar Evers College in the regular season finale at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday.  Fans can follow all the action via live stats and live stream.

The Lightning (18-3; 11-2) are coming off a hard-fought 80-76 victory against visiting Baruch College this past Saturday at The APEX.  Gian Batista led the offense for Lehman as he had his second 'triple-double' of the season with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.  Isaiah Geathers added 19 points for the Lightning which now ranks him second in Lightning's All-Time History Books with a total of 1,364. The victory on Saturday also put Lehman tied for first-place with Baruch in the CUNYAC standings.

Also, on Tuesday, the Baruch Bearcats will visit the John Jay Bloodhounds in their regular season finale.  With Baruch holding the tiebreaker over Lehman, the only way the Lightning can claim the CUNYAC regular season crown on Tuesday is with a victory over Medgar Evers Cougars and a loss by the Bearcats.

For Tuesday's match-up at The APEX, Lehman holds an 18-6 lead in the head-to-head series against Medgar Evers since 2007.  The Lightning have won the last four encounters.  The previous match-up between the two sides took place last month (January 21^st) at Brooklyn's Cougars Cave with Lehman posting a 90-83 win over the hosts.  Batista was an assist shy (nine) of a 'triple-double' for the Lightning as he had 22 points and 17 boards.
