Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team will hosts Brooklyn College in a quarterfinal game of CUNYAC Championships at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday at 2 pm ET. 

Lehman captured the regular season title and the CUNYAC number one seed after posting a 12-2 conference record, while holding a 19-3 overall mark.  The Lightning will face the number eighth seeded Bulldogs (3-12; 2-12 CUNYAC).  Fans can follow all the action online via live stats and live stream.

If Lehman is victorious over Brooklyn on Saturday it will then hosts a CUNYAC semifinals game next Wednesday (February 23^rd) against the winner of #4-John Jay College vs. #5-Hunter College quarterfinal.

The Lightning hold a slim 14-12 edge in the head-to-head meetings against the Bulldogs since 2007.  In the previous match-up held on Feb. 5^th, Lehman won its fifth consecutive game over Brooklyn as it defeated the visiting side, 80-64, at The APEX.  Mo Idrissou and Isaiah Geathers scored 21 points each, while Gian Batista added 19 points for the Lehman victory.

Also, on Saturday, the Lehman men's and women's track and field sides will compete at the West Point Tune Up at Gillis Field House in U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.

The Lightning are in their final preparations for the CUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the end of this month.
