Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team will greet Hunter College in the CUNYAC Championship Semifinal at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday at 6 pm ET.
The number one seeded Lightning (20-3), which captured the regular season title, are two victories away from the obtaining the 'CUNYAC Double' and take on the fifth seeded Hawks (13-12). Fans can follow all the men's basketball action online via

Lehman is coming off its 16
th consecutive victory at The APEX this past Saturday after defeating eighth seeded Medgar Evers College, 71-54, in the CUNYAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
Mo Idrissou led the way for the Lightning with a career-high 27 points, while
Isaiah Geathers had 17 points and
Gian Batista added 13.
Elsewhere in CUNYAC Quarterfinals, Hunter posted a 101-97 triumph over hosts John Jay College last Sunday at The Doghouse.
Lehman holds a 20-9 advantage during the head-to-head series since 2008, which includes 13 victories in the last 15 outings. The Lightning have won both encounters this season over the Hawks with the most recent coming on January 25
th at The APEX with the hosts winning 112-101. Batista had a 'triple-double' to paced the Lehman offense with 27 points, 18 rebounds and 15 assists.
However, the last time the Lehman dropped an encounter at The APEX was on Jan. 10, 2020, when Hunter pulled a 55-51 upset.

Lehman is coming off a five-set defeat (11-25, 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 13-15) to visiting CCNY in a non-conference affair last Friday at The APEX.
Miguel Gonzalez had a 'double-double' with 14 kills and 16 digs for the Lightning, while
Ray Rodriguez also earned a 'double' as he had 17 digs and 10 kills.
Lehman has won 10 of 11 head-to-head encounters against Yeshiva since 2008. The last time both sides faced off was on February 19, 2020, at The APEX with the home-side winning in five-set thriller (25-22, 24-26, 24-26, 27-25, 15-13).
