Box Score New York, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's volleyball team defeated hosts Yeshiva University, in a non-conference match-up, in four sets (25-11, 19-25, 25-20, 25-22) on Wednesday at the Max Stern Athletic Center. The Lightning improve to a 4-2 overall record, while the Maccabees fall to 0-1.
Lehman took the first set before Yeshiva leveled the match by winning the second game. The Lightning rallied and posted victories in the third and fourth sets, respectively for the win.
Ray Rodriguez and
Christian Agudo led the offense for Lehman as they each had 'double-doubles' with Rodriguez hitting 10 kills with 14 digs, while Agudo dished out 30 assists and grabbed 10 digs. Agudo also had seven service aces.
The Lightning are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Morristown, N.J. and take on Saint Elizabeth University in a non-conference affair at 7 pm ET.
