Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's volleyball team (6-12:2-7) upended the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College (4-12:1-6) 3-1 in a CUNYAC men's volleyball match in the APEX.  The victory snapped a three-match skid an avenges an early season loss to Brooklyn. 

Ray Rodriguez led the way for Lehman with 15 kills and 15 digs.  Miguel Gonzalez added 12 kills and 15 digs.  Christian Agudo was credited with 27 assists and led the team with three aces. 
 
The Lightning took the first and second sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-23 before faltering in the third falling 26-18.  However, Lehman was able to close out the match by winning the fourth set 25-21.

The early going of the first set was a back and forth affair.  With the score tied at 10, the Lightning went on a 5-1 spurt to take control.  Brooklyn was never able to retake the lead.  Set two was a set of runs.  The Lightning jumped out to a 7-2 advantage.  Brooklyn would then rally to tie the score at 10.  Lehman would score the next three points but the Bulldogs would immediately answer with six straight to take a 16-13 lead.  Trailing 18-17 the Lightning would go on a 5-1 run to take a 23-17 lead in-route to victory.  The Bulldogs led wire to wire to capture the third set.    In the fourth set, the Lightning scored six of the sets' final eight points to earn the victory.

Lehman travels to Hunter on Thursday night as they look to upend the Hawks.  First serve is scheduled for 6 PM.
