Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - For the fifth consecutive time, the hosts Lehman College men's basketball defeated a CUNYAC opponent as it topped Medgar Evers College 86-70 during homecoming weekend at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday.  The Lightning improve to a 12-6 overall record and 5-1 in CUNYAC play, while the Cougars fall to a 4-14 mark and 0-7 in conference action.

After a 42-36 lead at the intermission, Lehman extended its lead in the second half and scored Medgar Evers 44-34 for the 16-point triumph.

Leading the way for the Lightning was guard Juan Fernandez with 19 points, while forward Lasana Camara had 18 points.  Forward Mo Idrissou had a 'double-double' with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while teammate Isaiah Geathers also doubled with 11 points and 10 boards.

Lehman is back in CUNYAC action on next Tuesday (January 24th) with it travels to take on Hunter College at 7 pm ET.
