Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team received several CUNYAC postseason honors as Gabriella Vargas was named rookie of the year and earned all-star conference accolades, while Caroline Lopez also made all-star selection and Vitoria Heloany Reis made the Sportsmanship Team.

Vargas, a native of Patterson, N.Y., led the Lightning in singles victories with eight during the 2024 campaign, while also posting five triumphs in doubles action.

The Bronx native Lopez earns her second CUNYAC all-star honors after winning five matches in singles play along with five more in doubles sets.

Heloany Reis, a native of Mount Vernon, N.Y., had a 3-2 overall record in doubles matches, including the only triumph of Lehman during the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals against Baruch (5-1).
