Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball won its second consecutive match as it topped visiting Yeshiva University, in a non-conference affair, in three sets (25-16, 25-16, 25-16) on Monday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 2-4 overall record, while the Maccabees drop to an 0-2 mark.
After winning the first set, Lehman trailed early in the second set, 5-3, against Yeshiva. Then the Lightning went on a 22 to 11 run to take the second set. Lehman would win the match after capturing the third set.
Ray Rodriguez led the Lightning offense with 10 kills, while grabbing eight digs and serving three aces.
Alain Abreu Esteva had seven kills with 11 digs, while
Amir Pepic added six kills.
Lehman commence CUNYAC action in 10 days (February 15th) when it hosts John Jay College at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
