Box Score 2 Madison, N.J. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped consecutive 3-1 non-conference matches to Elizabethtown College (27-25, 19-25, 15-25, 17-25) and hosts Drew University (25-21, 22-25, 12-25, 22-25), respectively, at Baldwin Gym, on Saturday.
In the opener, the Lightning (14-9) took the first set before Elizabethtown Blue Jays (16-11) came back and won the next three to claim the match.
Emmanuel Cochran led the way for Lehman with 15 kills, while
Ray Rodriguez had nine kills and
Alain Abreu Esteva notched eight kills.
Christian Agudo registered another 'double-double' as he dished out 29 assists and grabbed 14 digs.
In the nightcap, the Lightning once again won the first set, however the Drew Rangers (6-24) rebounded captured the match after taking the next three sets. Agudo recorded another 'double-double' for Lehman with 28 assists and 13 digs, while Cochran posted 14 kills and Rodriguez had eight kills.
The CUNYAC playoff bound Lightning will wrap up conference play on Tuesday (April 1st) when they visit CCNY at 7 pm ET.
