Junior, Rene Lopez has been named the CUNYAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending, Sunday, September 14. 
 
Lopez, a native of New Rochelle, NY, scored a pair of game winning goals to leave the Lightning undefeated on the young season.  In a mid-week tilt against Old Westbury.   Lopez found the back of the net seven minutes into the contest.  The Lightning added an insurance goal in the closing minute of the first half to go onto to a 2-0 victory.  He followed that up by notching, the game winner in the final minute of the contest against previously unbeaten Delaware Valley.   It was Lehman's third goal of the afternoon leading to a 3-2 victory. 
 
The Lightning are back in action tonight as the travel to Danbury, CT to face Western Connecticut State.  Kick-off is slated for 6 PM.  Fans unable to make the trip can follow all of the action via live stats and a live stream of the contest.
