Amar Ndiaye, the CUNYAC Player of the Year, has been named to the D3hoops.com All Region Team.
The senior averaged 11.6 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to lead the Lightning to a 14-0 CUNYAC record, the CUNYAC Title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He also led the team with 61 blocked shots and a shooting percentage of .538.
He ranks 4
th in the country in offensive rebounding and 8
th total rebounds. He also ranks 20
th in double-doubles and 17
th in blocked shots.
The Lightning ended the season with a 21-7 overall record.
